ESTATE PLANNING
Firmin Law believes that estate planning encompasses more than creating a Will or trust documents. Estate planning is a collaborative process between you and your attorney to design and develop a custom package that protects your estate assets, honors your fiduciary and guardianship wishes for yourself and your loved ones, and preserves your life legacy.
Working together, Jennifer will offer you guidance on selecting guardianship, executor, trustee, and beneficiary designations while explaining each document, the purpose of the document, and the circumstances in which the document would be needed. Jennifer is familiar with the unique and often sensitive estate planning considerations of blended families and works closely with these families to create personalized plans to avoid misunderstandings in the future.
What’s the process?
Call or email Firmin Law and Jennifer and her staff will promptly respond with a warm welcome and a proprietary intake form for you to fill out and return. After reviewing your intake form, Jennifer will meet with you to understand your unique estate planning goals and address any questions or concerns you may have. Jennifer will then draft your customized documents, review them with you, make any necessary changes, and follow up with you to insure that everything is correct. When you are satisfied with all your documents, Jennifer and her staff will set up a formal document execution ceremony with notary and witness services included. This official ceremony insures that your documents are validly executed in full compliance with Texas state law.
